Angelica South

Artistic Director and President

Angelica South is the Artistic Director and President of the Board for our Fine Arts Academy. She was the artistic director and choreographer for United Talent’s student productions of Clara’s Dream (2014, 2015), The Little Match Girl (2016), Stars & Stripes (2017), Snow White (2017), The Little Prince (2018), Peter Pan (2018), Rapunzel (2019) and is currently in production of Hugo coming October 2019.  She in her fifth season teaching at United Talent as a Senior Dance Instructor.

This is her ninth year teaching dance to kids of all ages, she has been a guest ballet intensive teacher at Studio Dance, Dancer’s Pointe, Fitch’s School of Dance, and Ballet Etc. Dance Institute. Angelica performed for six seasons as a professional dancer with the Lexington Ballet.  With the company she has performed title roles in: Afternoon of a Faun (The Nymph), The Nutcracker (Snow Queen, Sugar Plum Fairy, Columbine Doll, Dewdrop, Marie, Spanish soloist), Giselle (Peasant Pas de Deux), A Midsummer Night's Dream (Helena), The Koln Concert, Alice in Wonderland (Alice), The Solider’s Tale (The Princess), and Scheherazade.

Angelica has danced with Allegro Dance Project (2017) and been a guest dancer with Central Virginia Ballet (2015). Angelica is originally from Traverse City, Michigan where she trained under the direction of Thomas Morrell at Ballet Etc. Dance Institute. While still in school she performed in the youth companies, Northwest Michigan Ballet Theatre and West Michigan Youth Ballet.

Angelica has attended summer intensives with the Bolshoi Ballet in New York City, America Ballet Theatre Collegiate Intensive, The Harid Conservatory and the Grand Rapids Ballet. In 2013, Angelica competed in the Youth American Grand Prix regional competition in Indianapolis and received first place in the Pas De Deux category along with an invitation to the finals in New York City. She was accepted into the year-round program at the Bolshoi Ballet Academy in Moscow, Russia.

Angelica would like to thank all of her family and friends for supporting her in achieving and accomplishing her goals and dreams. She is very thankful for all the opportunities presented to her and is so grateful for all of her students; they bring her joy and so much inspiration every day!

Lisa Bramlage

Director of Advancement

Lisa holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration and Marketing from Wright State University in Dayton Ohio. Past roles have included Director of Advancement at Cardome, Homeschool teacher, Sales and Marketing director for Simplex.  She has more than 10 years of successful experience in sales, marketing, communications and fundraising.

Mark Fields

Musical Theatre Director

Mark Fields is thrilled to be joining the team at United Fine Arts Academy as Director of the Musical Theatre Program! Mr. Fields is in his eighth year of teaching music and theatre. Under Mr. Fields' direction, students have been selected for the Kentucky Music Educators Association All-State Children's Chorus, Central Kentucky Choral Festival, Fayette County Elementary Honor Chorus, and have earned distinguished ratings at choral festivals and talent competitions across the state. In 2015, Mr. Fields was named District 11 Elementary Music Teacher of the Year by the Kentucky Music Educators Association and was nominated for the Berea Chamber of Commerce's Educator of the Year Award. More recently, in 2018, Mr. Fields was selected for Lexington Radio 106.3's Tell on Your Teacher Award which enabled him to attend the iTheatrics Junior Theatre Festival, a national celebration of youth musical theatre in January 2019. During the festival, Mr. Fields was trained on new techniques from directors, vocal coaches, and choreographers including Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, composers of Dear Evan Hansen and The Greatest Showman, Thomas Schumacher, President of Disney Theatricals, and Cameron Mackintosh, producer of Broadway’s Les Miserables, The Phantom of the Opera, Disney’s Mary Poppins, Hamilton, and Cats, as well as many other distinguished musical theatre experts direct from Broadway and the Kennedy Center for the Arts. Mr. Fields also teaches private voice lessons to several central Kentucky students.
